Allen County Safe Kids is committed to providing prevention messages to those in our community. We provide information and instruction regarding child passenger safety, fire safety, and safety in the home. Our dedicated professionals and volunteers are made up of law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, medical and health professionals, social service organizations, and others with an interest in keeping kids safe. We work closely with educators, parents, grandparents, businesses, public policy-makers and, most importantly, kids.

Allen County Safe Kids will be hosting its annuals State Farm Car Seat Check Up Event on Saturday May 17, 10 AM - 1 PM at Wal Mart on 1710 Apple Glen Blvd, off Illinois Rd. Car seats will be inspected for proper fit and safety.
Allen County Safe Kids will be hosting a car seat tech certification class. The class will be held on Tuesday June 10, Wednesday June 11, Tuesday June 17 and Wednesday June 18, 8 AM - 4 PM, at the St. Joe Township Fire Department, 8033 Maplecrest Rd. Attendance is required on all four days. Total cost for the class is $100: $60 payable to National Safe Kids when you register online and $40 payable to Allen County Safe Kids which will be invoiced to you.
